THE PROCESS

Taking no longer than a minute, simply fill out the form on our contact page.

Email me a photo of your dog (or pet / loved one). We recommend you take the photo at a low level to ensure I can see both of their eyes and creating a clear composition. It's also a good idea to make sure that their best collar or neckerchief is nicely positioned. If you prefer for me to photograph your dog, please get in touch and I can arrange for you to bring them to my art studio.

I will then send you the image to approve.

I can supply floating black frames on request but most of my portraits don't need frames.

A hook will be fitted to the reverse so once you receive your painting you can hang it straight on the wall.
ORDERING & DELIVERY
Lead time: Allow 2-3 weeks for completion (please allow longer around our busy Christmas period)
Canvases: They are high quality linen, mounted on a 2 inch box frame. This is so the painting has depth and does not need a frame, unless you have requested a 'floating frame' which works best.
Postage: You are welcome to collect from me in Axminster, or postage will be cost price per parcel at approx £6.00 - £11.00 for UK. £30.00 - £40.00 overseas.
Payment: You do NOT pay anything until you have approved your painting(s) and are 100% satisfied.The copyright remains the property of 'Clive Hemsley' and 'The Dog Portrait Artist' until payment is processed.
